Surgical Orthodontics

If the jaws are severely misaligned and jaw growth is completed then orthognathic (jaw) surgery, may be recommended. When done in conjunction with orthodontics it will result in improved facial esthetics and relationship of teeth. If you are a candidate for jaw surgery we will show you images of what the results are likely to be. Jaw surgeries are performed by maxillofacial surgeons. We would refer you to them to get a surgical consult. You can then make a more informed decision.
